All workouts are scaled based on an individual's physical fitness capabilities; therefore, anyone can participate in workouts, and still have an accurate, measurable growth of strength and improvement determined on an individual scale. The physical fitness results are measured on a daily basis.
Along with the general health benefits of CrossFit, we have a strong interest in helping youth who not only disadvantaged from a socio-economic standpoint, but who are also suffering from chronic disease such as obesity.
We work with high school administrators, teachers, and parents to keep track of a youth's progress in school, getting along with other peers, and their overall health developments participating in CrossFit.
Our vision is to ensure we find at-risk, disadvantaged youth, and teens struggling with obesity who will benefit the most from our scholarships. Particularly, those who attend schools that have no requirements for PE (physical education) to graduate high school.
